The Institute of Political Leadership emerged in 2006 from Delhi. The Idea was given by our Honorable director Mr. Shahnawaz Chaudhary . He was concerned about the lack of integrity found in our political system & begins a program to improve the quality of political and governmental leadership in state and Central government. Simply stated, the only purpose of this unique leadership Institute is to produce better qualified, ethical, accessible and more representative public leaders in India at state and Central governments. The Institute provides leadership development of persons who have been identified as having the potential to become future public leaders. No other program offers such a comprehensive curriculum in strategic political leadership development. The institute keep about 45-50 Fellows in each batch for different training programme. Selection is on the basis of leadership potential and commitment of politics and no Discrimination is done by Institute on the basis of race, sex, Language, Cast, Region, Religion or ideology.
